Andrew and 9 others: In specie transfers from one platform to another. I've been doing quite a few but getting very frustrated when the funds are no longer registered on the ceding scheme and not yet showing on the receiving scheme as the fund manager has not reregistered the fund.

Sometimes this takes days but it has also taken months to appear on the receiving scheme. This can create unwanted concerns for my clients when they can't see the fund showing any where. I've tried contacting the in specie fund managers but they will only deal with the receiving scheme and ceding scheme. What have others done in this situation as I need to have a proper audit trail to show where the funds are at every stage of the transfer? Click…

Jack and 27 others: Hi all, bit of a technical one that is causing me to tear hair out.

So how on earth am I meant to word this advice/report?

I'm being told I can't reference the family or "personal" gain in the report as it's business only, but that's literally what the policy is? The way I'm being told this is essentially saying the RLP isn't allowed and they must have Shareholder or KP cover instead.

How am I meant to write this?! Click…
