A personal message from me…
…to say a huge thank you to everyone who makes the LifeTalk community what it is.
This year has seen 3,065 new posts which generated 41,982 comments and a massive 51,001 reactions.
An amazing 84.68% of members are active, which is almost unheard of for online groups. In online communities, involvement generally follows the 90-9-1 rule, where 90% of community members are 'lurkers' who read or observe, but don't contribute. 9% of community members edit or respond to content but don't create content of their own, whilst 1% of community members create new content.
All of which suggests LifeTalkers have a lot to say!
We have two Marketing and Lead Generation Groups for Advisers
Our separate marketing and lead generation group is also growing well with almost 500 members, and our brand new premium offering - the Adviser Marketing Club has got off to a great start with a whole year of lead generation training for members beginning on 16th January. AI Best Practice for Financial Advisers
Our AI Best Practice group for IFAs is also a new premium offering for those IFAs and advisers who are eager to embrace AI in their businesses. And interestingly, our most popular webinar of the year was our recent Introduction to AI for Financial Advisers which generated a fantastic response. If you missed it you can catch up here.
You cannot afford to ignore AI as a financial adviser, and so due to the rapid developments in the technology, we will be hosting monthly AI webinars for advisers throughout 2024. In 2023 we reintroduced our newsletter LifeTalk Insider, which in just thirty weeks has been viewed 6,600 times. The weekly newsletter has an open rate of 49.71% which compares favourably with the average open rate across all industries of 21.5% (source: Campaign Monitor Campaign Benchmarks Report). Books
Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of my books in 2023. This year saw an updated version of Marketing for Financial Advice Professionals, plus a new one Lead Generation for Later Life Advisers and another new release The Financial Advisers Guide to AI Adoption. I'm in the process of finishing off a second book on AI for advisers, which will be available mid January 2024.
Mastermind Groups
There is clearly an appetite for groups of advisers to meet up in person on a regular basis, and which follow a proven mastermind model. This is being put together as we speak, and I'll be sharing more details in due course.
All that remains is for me to wish every member of LifeTalk a safe and prosperous 2024.
